Red Shed Readings

A packed house and a memorable night:  Dave Pitt and Emma Purshouse tossed a coin to see who went on first and were brilliant.  Dave writes poems that can make you laugh or cry, but finds it hard not to be funny.  Emma’s skill is such that a poem linking Donald Trump to groping assaults in midlands nightclubs sits perfectly well with childrens’ poems about kids with fake zoos in their garden.  Not only that, but Ichabod Wolf, performing songs from his debut album sings in a unique voice so soaked in remorse you start to wonder what terrible things he must have done.  Next up, in December, it’s Laura Potts North and Mourning on December 6th.
